This part of the journey is on a 15-kilometer jeepable trek, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and the towering peaks of the Karakoram range.
From Tato, the trek continues through dense forests and rugged terrain to reach Fairy Meadows, a lush, green grassland located at the base of Nanga Parbat at an altitude of about 3,200m/10,500 ft. Fairy Meadows, set within the Raikot valley, is bordered by the Raikot glacier, which originates from Nanga Parbat and feeds into the Indus river. DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01. Arrival in Islamabad
After arriving in Islamabad you will be picked up from airport representative and transfer to hotel. Presentation of the staff, briefing with the guides and verification of the equipment. Finally you will enjoy a brief rest after your journey. Start by visiting the iconic Faisal mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Its striking modern architecture, set against the backdrop of the Margalla hills, offers stunning views that will leave you in awe. From there, you will head to Daman-e-Koh, a beautiful viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of the entire city, surrounded by the green slopes of the Margalla range. Day 02. Islamabad: sightseeing

The journey takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of the Karakoram highway, passing rivers, valleys, and villages along the way. As you drive closer to Chilas, the views of the towering peaks of the Karakoram range will begin to emerge, offering glimpses of the rugged and awe-inspiring terrain. After a long day of travel, you will reach Chilas.

Day 04. Chilas to Raikot bridge and to Tatu village to Fairy Meadows (3,200m/10,500ft), 4-5 hours
You’ll begin your journey with a scenic drive from Chilas to Raikot bridge. The drive takes you along the Karakoram highway, offering breathtaking views of the lush valleys and towering peaks. Upon reaching Raikot bridge, you’ll cross the bridge and begin the trek toward Tatu village. This part of the trek takes you through remote and rugged terrain, where you’ll experience the tranquil beauty of the area, surrounded by towering cliffs and dense forests. From Tatu the trek continues to Fairy Meadows, one of the most picturesque spots in the region. You’ll embark on a scenic trek from Fairy Meadows to Beyal Camp, situated at an elevation of 3,650m (12,000ft). The trail will lead you through lush forests and rocky paths, offering stunning views of Nanga Parbat as you gradually ascend. The trek is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region, with breathtaking vistas of towering peaks and expansive valleys. Once you reach Beyal Camp, take some time to admire the spectacular views of Nanga Parbat, which dominates the landscape. After soaking in the beauty of the surroundings, begin your journey back to Fairy Meadows. Return to the camp for a relaxing evening, enjoying the serene environment and reflecting on the day’s adventure.

Day 06. Fairy Meadows to Tatu village and to Chilas (1,372m/4,500ft), 6-7 hours
You begin the trek from Fairy Meadows back to Tatu village, retracing the path you took earlier. Enjoy the serene beauty of the landscape as you descend through lush valleys and forests, with stunning views of Nanga Parbat still guiding your way. After reaching Tatu village, continue your descent to Raikot bridge, where you’ll be picked up for the drive back to Chilas. The drive offers more scenic views of the Karakoram range as you make your way to Chilas.

Day 07. Chilas (1,372m/4,500ft) to Islamabad
You begin your journey with a scenic drive from Chilas back to Islamabad. As you travel along the Karakoram highway, enjoy the stunning views of the rugged mountains and picturesque valleys. The journey is long but offers plenty of opportunities to appreciate the beauty of northern Pakistan. Upon reaching Islamabad, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax and unwind after the drive.

Day 08. Final Departure
You will have breakfast and you will be free until your departure. A representative will take you airport for your final departure.
