This trek combines a visit to various magnificent places in the Annapurna region of the Himalayas. From the world famous viewpoint of Poon hill we should witness a superb Himalayan sunrise on Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South and Machapuchare. At the Annapurna base camp, a natural amphitheater known as Annapurna sanctuary, mighty Himalaya giants like Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome and Machapuchare.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01. Arrival in Kathmandu
After arriving in Kathmandu you will be picked up from airport representative and transfer to hotel. Presentation of the staff, briefing with the guides and verification of the equipment. We will serve authentic nepalese cuisine with cultural show in the evening.

Day 02. Kathmandu to Pokhara by car
After the breakfast we will be heading to Pokhara by private transport. On the way we would be seeing the beautiful view of the Trishuli river which is flowing side by side throughout the most of our way to Pokhara. We even get to witness the people doing rafting in Trishuli river.

Day 03. Pokhara to Nayapul (1,070m/3,510ft) by car and trek to Tikhedunga (1,480m/4,855ft), 4 hours
We will start trekking from Nayapul after a 1,5 hour drive with a private vehicle from Pokhara. After a short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti, a large village that has many shops and teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille and after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga. Today is walk offers a short and relatively easy day, during the journey which allows us to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal.

Day 04. Tikhedhunga (1,480m/4,855ft) to Ghorepani (2,874m/9,429ft), 6 hours
Leaving Tikhedhunga, we begin our journey with a steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village. The trail then continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti. Then we trek towards Nangethanti. After another hour of walking we will finally reach Ghorepani.

Day 05. Ghorepani (2,874m/9,429ft) to Poon hill at sunrise (3,210m/10,530ft ) and Tadapani (2,610m/8,562ft), 5 hours
Today, very early in the morning, we start an hour hike to Poon hill, a brilliant spectacle; this vantage point provides a superb view of sunrise over the high Himalayas, including the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machapuchre. In Poon hill we will spend about 1 hour, we then return to Ghorepani. We take a hot breakfast at the hotel and continue our trek to Tadapani. Along the trail towards Tadapani, we make climb along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests. Our final destination for today, Tadapani, offers magnificent views of Machapuchare and Annapurna South.

Day 06. Tadapani (2,610m/8,562ft) to Chhomrung (2,170m/7,120ft), 4-5 hours
Today, we begin our trek to Chhomrung, walking at a slower pace to acclimatize to the rising altitude. The path leads us through beautiful forests, with occasional glimpses of the Annapurna range. As we descend towards Chhomrung, we’ll experience the charm of this peaceful village nestled in the heart of the Himalayas. It’s a perfect place to rest and prepare for the next leg of our adventure.

Day 07: Chomrung (2,170m/7,120ft) to Bamboo (2,310m/7,579ft), 4-5 hours
As we continue to gain altitude, our pace slows, and we take our time through the lush forest. The journey to Bamboo takes the chance of seeing snow increasing as we climb. The jungle offers a beautiful, serene atmosphere, where we might even spot playful monkeys along the way. It’s a peaceful trek, with the landscape gradually changing as we get closer to our next destination.

Day 08. Bamboo (2,310m/7,579ft) to Deaurali (3,230m/10,598ft), 5 hours
We pass through the bamboo forest which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with fewer steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali with the most scenic stretch of the day and the vertical rock face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls.

Day 09. Deaurali (3,230m/10,598ft) to Machapuchare base camp (3,700m/12,139ft) and to Annapurna base camp (4,130m/13,551ft), 5 hours
As we approach closer and closer to the mountains it starts getting colder. On the way to Annapurna base camp we first reach Machapuchare base camp. We will be surrounded by mountains from all sides and the density of the vegetations and plants will be thinner and thinner. It is the best and one of the nearest view point of the mountains (Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machapuchare, Gangapurna, Annapurna II and III and much more).

Day 10. Annapurna base camp (4,130m/13,551ft) to Bamboo (2,310m/7,579ft), 6-7 hours
We will be waking up early in the morning to see the pleasing view sun rise through the mountain ranges. And after breakfast we start our trek down to Bamboo through same way back down hill leaving Machapuchare base camp behind.

Day 11. Bamboo (2,310m/7,579ft) to Jhinu Danda (1,780m/5,840ft) and Hot Spring, 5 hours
After the breakfast we start our trek down to Jhinu Danda through stone steps most of the time. We will be at Chomrong one more time while we trek down to Jhinu Danda. As soon as we reach Jhinu Danda we will be going to Hot Spring to become fresh and relax for sometimes.

Day 12. Jhinu Danda (1,780m/5,,840ft) to Nayapul (1,070m/3,510ft) and to Pokhara by car, 4-5 hours
After the breakfast we start our trek down to Nayapul following the Modi river all the way down to Nayapul with several villages on the way. When we arrive Nayapul we go to Pokhara.

Day 13. Pokhara to Kathmandu by car
After breakfast in Pokhara you will drive to Kathmandu. Free day.

Meals included: breakfast. Overnight: hotel.

Day 14. Kathmandu: sightseeing and free shopping
After breakfast take an excursion visit. Today we will go for sightseeing Swyambhunath, Pasupatinath temple, Bouddhanath and Patan. World heritage site and freely shopping day. Evening there will be a typical nepali dinner organized for you in the typical nepali restaurant with cultural program.

Day 15. Final departure
You will have breakfast and you will be free until your departure. A representative will take you airport for your final departure.
